got out with the Tiger shark today

Hi all, I made it out to a quite county park beach today because of the cooler temps around here. I have not had a lot of opportunity to take the Tiger shark out until today. I found a lot of clad and very little trash. I was actually surprised at how few signals there were. I think it has been hunted a lot. I found a three quarter, two dime pocket spill which was real neat. I do have a question about signals though, I got a lot of solid signals and also some broken one way signals that I assume are trash but I also got some one way real short signals that barely sounded off? Are these also trash? The other question I have is does the Tiger shark make the same volume signal on deep or shallow signals or does deeper signals come in more quieter?

I cant help you with the Tiger Shark questions, but from what I have experienced at the beach, it is one of the cleanest (very few signals) places that you can hunt. I use a large coil with practically no discrimination when I beach hunt. If you WANT to get some signals (other than sweeping your scoop. etc), hunt closer the the garbage cans or the funnel points at the entry/access points to the beach.

Personally, I dig anything that's even borderline iffy on the beach(that isn't around the trash cans). That gold comes in all shapes and sizes so it shows up all over the electromagnetic spectrum ime. Keep at it and good Luck!
