Got out with the gtax 550

New member
found a new site that's fairly trashy so i put the naughty up and hit it with the 550. The green one picked out a nice eagle I button, 1908 V nickle, couple lantern knobs and a buck ball in just a few hours. Thanks for looking and HH.
 
nice coin. just bought a new 550 last weekend. Had it out today in a church lot behind my house that has a ball field and found a clad dime, 5 pennies, and a smashed hot wheel.
 
Cool finds! I feel kinda silly now. I found several of those lantern knobs at a site, and kept getting frustrated when I dug them because I thought they were some kind of old roofing nail!! Were they used as wick adjustments on the old kerosene lamps?
