Got out with my new to me cz70 today....

Went to an old home site where they had torn down the house over the winter. Picked up the cz70 right where I left off with my old one. Found $1.12 in coins, including a 1900 IH, a 1924DBuffalo nickel, two 1910 wheaties, a smooth IH and $1.03 in clad. The lincoln pennies were so corroded they were getting eaten apart. If you don't get out as much as you like and can't afford the new whizbang detectors anyway, a cz is hard to beat. Easy to use, deep, and no constant tweaking to get the best performance out of them. Just a fun couple of hours with a fun to use detector. Good luck and HH. Bob.

Great hunt Bob....I owned a nice cz70 and it was a great detector. Very deep machine and extremely easy to set up and hunt with. I'm using a CZ5 now and wouldn't trade it for a new whizbang detector. I will never be without a cz to hunt with thats for sure....
one of the best detectors out there. Hope the good finds keep coming your way !

Roger

The CZ70 is a great, no nonsense detector. Goes deep, hits hard on silver and gold alike with the 5K and 15K frequencies.

Some like the pistol grip of the Digital and some like the S rod of the Analog CZ's but in any case old technology at its finest....

nice finds Bob. Have been detecting for 39yrs. Bought my first fisher a cz-3d four yrs. ago and have not looked back since. Like the depth, easy setup, and operation. CZs rule. Mike

went back with the 5 inch coil on. Got another quarter, nickel and dime(all clad), 19 zincs and a 1946 wheatie. Also what appears to be some kind of naval button with the eagle and anchor, a flower button and a broken suspender clasp. Also learned a valuable lesson. Don't drink a Diet Dr. Pepper while hunting. At least not if you are hunting in a town yard. .
