He got here at 8 just as he said he would (love it when folks are on time) and we headed for the construction site where I found the bear teeth a while back. The top soil is still in piles though so after an hour of walking around on the hard packed clay in 80 degrees and not much to show for it we headed for the woods.
This is all I got on the day side of the moon. The clip was pretty exciting for a few seconds

I took him to another spot I had found where 1853 Enfield rounds abound and I think he spent about 7 hours digging those, 5 of those hours were in this hole. There were so many bullets all he was doing was breaking up the soil then waving the lumps over his coil.

He had to take a couple of breaks going back to the car because his pack was so heavy. He'd already taken a bunch before this one

Hunted around in the woods while he did that and did a lot better than I thought I would. 1903 little nickel, 1912 dime and 1919 quarter. Another 1860' naval button and two little pins from Queen's University in Kingston, Ont. 1 is Sterling and 1 10k. They were about 1" apart and both have a little piece of silver chain attached so I guess lost at the same time when the chain broke.
