Got out today

Got up this morning and decided to escape the dreaded honey-do list. So, grabbed my sov and headed into the city. Made a stop to help out a guy who had lost his keys and left him happy with them in his hand after a 40 minute hunt in deep grass along a rail line. Then headed to the woods. Not much found but it was a nice crisp fall day out seeing what turned up, always fun!

Had a coffee while watching the birds then it was digging time....

Soon after that I had a licence to detect...expired though...

I dug lots of trash...

But managed a good number of modern pennies, some bullets (including one that was inside a chunk of wood. I kept moving the stick to see what was under it. Who knew it would be inside!), one 41 penny, the pocket watch and a pair of ladies sunglasses which my wife promptly laid claim to.

All in all a good fun day out, hope the snow holds off long enough for a few more.
