I know why some people are saying it's noisy....Because it is.. But I mean it in a good way....
It's the type machine you will alway's pull target's out of the ground with in sight...Very reminiscent of a 1266 just with tones and lots of power..if it did not have a ground balance you could not run it in certain dirt such as my red N.Ga clay//
First digital machine I have used that runs with tonal quality's like analog machine has...with this machine you can massage signals out of the ground...
will take alot of hours to get the most out of this machine..Very sensitive very deep ...very learnable
Will cause some people lot's of problem's in the pro mode so take it careful...I have hunted 30 years and up to 10 years ago or so I could not of run this powerful of a machine without out knowing how powerful machine's run..
Garrett has created a monster and I am afraid they might of made it to hot for the average user to appreciate if that makes sense...
Dont' mean to sound discouraging but ....take your time with this machine and learn the audio..Bad ground wqill give the iron roll's on good target's but they have the round sound you can tune your ear too with sometimes a hint of high tone breaking through on the deepies..
I was running wide open sens pro mode,,,25 disc,,,,custom nothing notched...
It likes it all big to small.....
I ran it in a pure Iron hole today...it's a 1850's house site...hunted to death with all the top machine's...Last time in I was just digging surface type low conductor junk with the other unit..
this time in the At-Pro lit the site up hit's everywhere...Lot's of .22 lead and Hull's and shotgun hull's...
Ended up hunting 4 hour's and got a few keeper's
couple of ball Button's one deep in photo ... these are cuff size and this one was over 10 inches in clay..
1 toe tap in photo about 11 inches in red clay..
.69 round ball
carved 3 ringer
melted lead
and a neat half of a sash buckle..
Thanks
