but I got out and that was the main thing, forgot my pain pills so it was a little tough on the legs, but I got back into a hole that I got some pickers from before. Been working this old limestone pocket that has some good indicators but today wasn't the day but it was good to get out and get some fresh air, even thought it was in the mid 30's, the hole I was digging was packed with a good redish brown layer that produces some nice flour gold. Next spring I will go back and run the dug out dirt thru a highbanker, and gold is gold weather a picker, clunker or flour gold.
enjoy and HAGD

I like that Santa Claus Hat, and those blue headphones really set it off. I didn't know Santa detected. Grubstake

Hi Allen,
Just wondering if you are planning to get to Dolin Springs this year. I figured if the weather was getting a little to rough up there you might be headed our direction. I see Billy and JohnB are considering having an outing at Gold Basin in December. Hope to see you there.

Take care............

Would like to get to DS, but I have a knee scope to scrape and flush one knee and it it don't work then I'm schedualed to have a knee replacement in Jan. and it looks like I might have to have both knees done, but other than that I'll be down as soon as I can, if I can, I suppose if I have metal in one or both knees my detector will be going off all the time, hahaha.
hope you have a good winter and find that good patch.
later and HAGD

Sorry to hear that Allen. My brother-in-law had both done in the last 10 months. He was almost unable to walk. What an amazing change in the quality of his life. He gets around great now without any pain whatso ever. I hope yours turns out like his has.

I guess I'll hold down the fort "GB" this winter.
Take Care
