well not quite. I think it's a game piece for a kids game.

Also got a barrett that was heavy and thought it was silver but got it home and did a lttle cleaning chrome plated steel. Darn! Did get a lead? soldier. What's left of the paint, his belt was yellow, brown uniform and red rifle? and hose. Used my 4.5" coil on my old Garrett GTA1000. Enough junk to start a scrap yard. Hope everybody gets out soon.

AFAIK, lead soldiers are still being made, albeit in much smaller quantities. They arent sold as childrens playthings and are more for the war gamer/figure painting crowd.

I would guess that lead soldiers went out of circulation in the 60's, gve or take.
