Oh My It Was Cold! The news man said it was 40+ degrees so I bundled up and headed out to our local kiddy park. Didn't find much @ the playground but checking behind one of the benches on the way back netted a coin spill of 4 modern quarters in the same hole. I did have one signal that, for all the world, looked like a silver dollar. It even peaked out of the bottom, of the hold, but it turned out to be a big metal washer. Oh well ... maybe I can use the washer, for something, down the road? I also found a pair of Lil' Angel flip-flops. I can't belive how easy it is to use my new Teknetics Minuteman detector. It's as light as a feather and pin-points beautifully. Whatever it says it is ... that's likely what it is. Once you get to know the machine, you know when you've found a pull-tab, crushed tin foil, or zink penny. I did 'um anyway because you just never know if it's gold.
