Picked up Buddy and headed out Saturday. I had important plans Saturday night so we only had about half a day to detect. We decided to go to an old haunt where the underbrush was dead right now and see what we could find before spring really hits. It really turned out good Ya never know whats in the thick stuff The Budman ended up with a Merc and 4 wheats
I got an email the other day asking why I never seemed to dig much trash...well, I do and here's the trash from yesterday.

If you don't dig the trash you could really be missing out. The silver tube is the cleaner kit from a M1 Grand. We find alot of the caps but thats the first tube I've found. Notice the fly buttons...they sound just like silver
You never know what you'll come across in the woods. Here' a neat milk bottle.

These big buttons will register like a half dollar and will get you going when you see them in the hole. The one on the left is in great shape. The one on the right is typical. The one in the middle actually says "U.S. Army" and it is probably the oldest.

I know ya'll all want to see the wheaties ...14 in all
