it was kinda sunny but the wind was very cold! Hunted the old yard that I have been to several times. My best finds are an old washington monument/capital building souvenir coin, a Charlie McCarthy toy, and the mouth still moves up and down. a 1967 canada cent (my birth year) and a neat old cap to some old jar? Who remembers Charlie McCarthy? I don't! :) [attachment 15275 DSC02078.JPG] [attachment 15276 DSC02079.JPG] [attachment 15277 DSC02080.JPG] [attachment 15278 DSC02081.JPG]

Charlie McCarthy was a big item in his day. Edgar Bergan was the guy who operated him. That's a neat token also ! Steve in so az

if there was a book for ventriloquist dummies today it would probably be called The Dummies Book of (or for) Dummies"

As Erkle used to say "Did I say that?"

Even I remember seeing Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy on the Ed Sullivan show. I seem to recall thinking that it must have been a better act on radio :)
