Got out and hunted a Plantation Home

I have a friend who has always wanted to detect but is dealing with some serious health problems. We've had to cancel some trips because of that but this week he called and said he had permission to hunt an old plantation home. Now I was a bit skeptical, but wanted to do some hunting so, Alan and I loaded up and hit the road. You can imagine my surprise when we met with one of the owners and he gave us a brief history on the old place. It was built in 1840 and the family owned around 4000 acres. He also added that while it would seem they were wealthy, they were in fact "land rich but dirt poor". Here's a few pictures of our hunt. :D

We hunted for around 6 hrs and didn't find anything really old or cool but had a great day detecting and Alan says he has several other friends that own other old homes that we can hunt in the future.

On another note, I have several more pictures of our hunt but can't get the site to upload them for some reason. Anyone else having trouble with multiple photos?
