Yeah..went out 2day for a little while and found 3qtrs, 1dime, 1nickel, and 3pennies...nothing old though. Along w/ 3pull-tabs and numerous crinkled aluminum cans, UGH! Also found an odd object but accidently LEFT it by where I had parked.(I'll go back n get it 4sure) It was a heavy, round, metal object very similar to a hockey-puck but a lil bigger. Any ideas? Found it near the base of a huge tree almost at the corner of a lot of some historic building. I thought maybe it could have been placed there as a property-marker maybe? Just a wild guess...? Idk. Odd though. Just wanted to share my hours worth 2day. HH.

Glad you were able to get out and enjoy a good hunt...The object could possibly be a property marker...normally, they are made of iron, and look like stakes...Survey Markers on the other hand are usually made of a rust resistant material and will be stamped with the survey coords, and the company that did the survey...other possibilities are a paper weight, or base for some other item...
