5 hours low tide today on a popular beach trying out my new (Permanently now) Excalibur settings.
Every thing maxed out in all metal.
Was digging crap much much deeper than ever before.
Only found 3 coins but when what I thought was a very shinny 1p popped out.
Kaboom hart attack silly dance time.

Your Welcome CM, From your finds looks like I have some catching up to do to........:please:
And I thank Clive (CJC), he turned me onto this style and gave several great tips......

Boomshakalaka! Awesome find dude :) I love my Excalibur, they sure bring in the gold. I always hunt on auto. Did you try something different to get deeper? Try round the same area, I bet there are more coins there. It could be an area where boats sold fish when they beached, or lost in a pouch with many more coins. Great stuff anyway well done :)

Auto is only giving you half the depth of full power
Sens just click it out of auto so at max 8-9 on the knob
all metal mode or pin point what ever you like to call it
Threshold as low as you can still hear seems a bit mental for a bit then calms down a bit or your ears adjust.
Sounds like mosquito's flying in and out you ear but you will still pick out the signals.
I have never had so many signals on this beach.
PS its a good spot in the Rock area of Cornwall more millionaires per meter than most places on earth lol
Not uncommon to dig a couple Tag watches a year plus the gold ect
Only problem is there big flat beaches with deep sand so you need to go extreme
