I have always loved the Flying Cents but never found very many or any in good shape. I got a low vdi number and a good tone tonight. I remember wondering what it might be with a vdi around 61. I was happy when it was a coin but assumed it was an Indian. On the way home I got thinking about it and wondered if it might be a fatty Indian or a Flying Cent. It was pretty dirty but I was glad to see it was thick. Cleaning got me my favorite of the two. 1858 Flying Eagle. The second one of the year for the Deus.
