Got new revamped control housing cover for the Gold Bug today

The manufacturer contacted me about the first one I had and offered to do a different size one....And I must say the newest one he sent me is a great fit and it lifted the cover up off your hand in the front...And it works great!!!

Well, I got mine today and I'm really not impressed with it. I got curious and tried a cover from one of my Xterra's. Guess what? fits like a glove and all you will have to do is cut 2 holes in the front and one in the back for the coil connector. The one I got off of Ebay is just way too loose and you are still gonna get the face of the detector dirty from use. Gonna get another Xterra cover for my GB.
