Got new pro-pointer/headphones headed to new park.

Well first off let me say the pro-pointer freaking rocks!!!!! So much easier and faster. Alot of times I could just pinpoint the object without digging a hole at all and pop the coin out. I was out 2 hours today 1 hour at a new park that was a total mess. So many beer cans and pulltabs and bottle caps it was just not any fun the detector was constantly chiming.

At the same area I went to the vollyball court and the detector would chime coin I would dig down 6" and try probe and it would go off like crazy on the rocky area underneath???? Very odd. Found 3 pennies 1 dime there.

Left and went back to other park for an hour but dam mosquitoes so bad was tough to swing. But managed to pull my first quater and 2 dimes and part of a earing or necklace piece that was silver very small.

The pro pointer made everything so so much easier I am thrilled to have it in my bag!!! This weekend should be a great time and I am READY!!!!!!

I KNOW I KNOW MY finds are pathetically small but hey I am having fun :)

At least you found something. They will be more soon:thumbup:

The ProPointer is worth every penny and then some. Good luck on your next outing and keep the pics coming.

Great hunt :clapping: Having fun is what it's all about.

I always have trouble in gravel (if that's what you mean by rocky) and usually avoid it. I have to lower my sensitivity a lot (maybe because of minerals) and I hate revovering in it too.

You should find a nice unhunted bark chip area and practice there. I have found a few that produced over 200 coins in 3 hours. The Pro-Pointer works great in them too.

You will get better with practice and with your enthusiam you are destined to be a treasure hunter. I used to spend 4 hours to get 15-20 coins and was very satisfied. I never dreamed that I could find hundreds of coins in a day when I started.

Keep at it. Thanks for posting pictures!

Chris

That's what it's all about. Sure glad we don't have skeeters here. One thing I don't miss from back there, along with all the other pesky critters.

Don't think of your finds as pathetic. Consider them good practice and partial payment on your pinpointer.
