Got my new machine today with about 20 minutes of daylight left..put together real quick and ran outside...kinda had idea where to put settings for coin....walked around my backyard and realized on a 100 plus year old property theres a ton of stuff in the ground..well anyways did find an antique budweiser can..sorry no pic, wanna clean up first..lol..and there is def a learning curve to this..switched to relic mode and could tell diff between iron and sharp sounds..just need more daylight..well gonna rain like crazy tomm..sunday got plans to visit an old "hermits cabin" up in woods across from me..maybe ill find an antique "shlitz" can..that was a beer right? Thanks for reading..ill post if i find anything in the woods...Curt

that large coil will pick up a lot of signals wet ground makes for better detecting and last of all SCHLITZ in the bottle is still my favorite .Lite beer is for sissys.

In my opinion, you can't go wrong with a 5.3 Eclipse coil (6

They still make Schlitz beer?

Been at it for four days...lots of junk dug up few coins nothing old..i definatly need a smaller coil, the 12 inch is going to be great on open fields but trying around my old home way to much stuff in ground..went out this morning and dug few holes only to find nothing because so much junk in area and hard to pinpoint..gonna go with a 5.3 coil i think..i know theres gotta be few old coins here..used to be a genaral store here back when it was dirt roads...did get few 12 inch deep signals that sounded promising but reluctant to dig with to much junk here.
