Got new F-75 today!

I picked up my new F-75 today from Burkes Pot of Gold in Kingston, Pa. I didn't get a chance to use it in a hunt yet today because of the dry conditions here in Pa. I did try it in Ed's test garden at his house and it was picking up deep coins very easily. It is so easy to change the settings and go into different hunt modes. Compared to my X-terra 70, the F-75 is a whole lot easier to use. When I brought it home and turned it on in the house it went crazy picking up signals everywhere. I had to crank the sensitivity down to play with some of the other settings. This is one super sensitive detector. I could see it finding coins at depths I never attained before. As far as the free probe that came with it. Well, it does work fine except for the battery compartment. It will not stay closed. I had to use some tape to get it to stay closed. There has to be some sort of design change made to it in the future.

Try this with the probe.

The 9V fits snugly between the tabs that stick up in the lid. Push it down hard into the foam, then push the handle of the probe down over it. Mine holds it so tightly that way that I had to use a piece of shim brass to get the tabs to release it in seeing if I could re-open it! Has been tight for three weeks plus of use.

I think your gonna like it!!!
Mine has turned a couple of sites on that I had thought were hunted out. Very good separation and recovery speed. Let me tell ya, lots better than the minelab Exterra's. (astually, I didnt think the Exterra's were as good as my old Advantage). Glad to see ya posting here. With your skill, I'm sure your gonna wow us with some cool finds soon!!! Streak!
