Got my X5 over the weekend and can't wait to get out...

Man that baby is light and sure seems to pick out buttons and coins from amidst cut nails. The snow is deep, ground is frozen and lots of schoolwork etc., so no chance to take it outdoors yet, but sure is nice to have a new detector and can't wait to see how it works in the Adirondack and CT soil. Anyone have any tips and info on the differences b/w it and the DFX as far as depth, use in tough ground, trash etc. Wish I could find out by taking it outdoors but unfotunately, will have to wait. Thanks everyone!

Thanks buddy! I finally got off my butt and got one :) Glad I did. It came with the 9" and 7" so should be set for a while till I can get the 5". I couldn't believe how quick it is compared to the DFX and how it sees thru iron. Look out cellar holes, here I come! Well at least in a few months  Have a good one Brian!
