Got my X-Terra 50

My 50 arrived on Wednesday. Didn't have much time till today to try it out due to work and turkey day. Finely this afternoon I shot out to a small beach after work just to git a little time in with it. I don't do much beach hunting this time of year but figured it be a good place to hear some targets and I wanted to see how it acted on the wet sand. With the sens at about 10 it was pretty stable on the wet sand and still had good depth. Nice. :clapping: I left the wet sand and headed out across the beach finding foil , clad and pull tabs all the normal stuff. No gold or silver but didn't really expect any. Has anyone found a small gold chain using the 5x10 coil? I don't have one to test it on so I was wondering how they come in. On my Explorer there just a null if anything. I'm hoping the 18.75 Freq. will bring them out. All in all very pleased with the 50 so far. I will try it on a couple older sites Ive been hunting this weekend. All you guys post are a great help. You saved me from having to figure out why it was shutting off on me. :ranting: I was prepared because of what I read here. Had a tiny croshay hook with me reached down in the battery box and slightly pulled up on the springs and no more shut offs. Thanks loads. Bob

Went out today to a old school. Found the 1936 Half, 1960 Quarter, 1958 Dime, gold plated ring, .36 Cal round
ball, some clad and newer cents. 2nd time out with the X-Terra 50, great machine!!!!!

I too found Diggers info really helpful, it should be included with
all the X series machines sold in the US!!!!!!!!
