Holy crap that thing is the size of a hockey puck.went out to my back yard where i was gettin ghost signals and trash signals at full bar i was pullin large nails about 6 inches.Found a old childs steel shovel was cool.I had to drop a couple bars on senstivity cause i was gettin eratic signals. Are you guys with snipper coils runnin full bars on grass or sand cause? Im gettin crazy signals maybe it take's time to get use to it.I do like that i can get up close to an object like a porch slab cause i did find some clad coins there.Im not to impress with it YET!

Running lots of sensitivity through that hockey puck sized coil really gives you amazing depth. You have to see it to believe it. That's why I always take the ACE with the sniper coil on relic hunts in the woods....because it gets that much good depth.

Im goin out this weekend to a place in the woods give it a try hopefully get used to it and get good results. Can't wait:jump:

It is ultra sensitive and goes very deep. It takes some getting used to and a bit of practice but it will grow on you.

At 5 bars I get high depth without so much ground signal interfering. I normally run it at 3-4 bars in tot lots, etc. I found 4 quarters today TOUCHING a playground bar-or should 've said several playground bars. It's the only coil I use and the one that kept me from selling my Ace. It turned my Ace into my favorite detector.

That's quite a testimonial there Slingshot !
Glad I saw it. That will now be a "must have"
coil when I get my 350. Thanks for posting
this. It was a big help to me. HH Gene

Thanks. I've already paid for the little puck several times over. Garrett sells them for a reasonable price compared to other companies. I have noticed that the toe of the coil can get closer to equipment than the heel, on mine anyway. So scan width seems to be from just under top of coil to just past bottom. So sometimes I tilt the TOP of the coil slightly away from the metal bars. Also, running 3 bars lets me get closer and I STILL have good depth. Testing it against my Freedom III (an oldie) I still matched depths.

:usaflag:I was thinking I should wipe the dust off of mine and try it out one of these days. My stock coil has been very kind to me.
