Unpacked the F75, set it up; and Mole's really having a ball with his new F75 !!!
I played about in the lounge, and set tones to dP, to experience multi tones on various targets.
I've come from years of Explorer detecting, and kinda like multi tones... But we'll see how we go when I get out in the field.
I tried both sets of my headphones, R.A.T phones, and Sunray Pro Gold phones... For my ears the Sunrays had the edge, they gave the sharpest "crispest" responses.
I gotta tell you, there's nothing wrong with my R.A.Ts at all __ great phones, ~ just that my hearing is best with the Sunrays...
RF from within the house had me dropping the sensitivity back down to 16, things got really stable then,
then I got far more steady and reliable numbers...
I like the back light, perfect illumination for the screen !!!
The lower shaft rubbers supplied are really thick, and they state that the coil/stem connection has been designed to operate with no rubber.
I'm guessing the rubbers are supplied to cover any situation such as if there was a bigger gap, and the rubbers could fill this gap.
Additionally it was stated that if the rubbers were forced in, it could make things too tight; ___ and maybe break off a coil lug.
I personally like to have the rubber washers, so I made myself a couple of thinner ones, perfect fit, and not too tight.
I'm VERY VERY HAPPY..... Man, talk about a quick response !!!
