Got my new F75 this morning !!!

Mole

New member
Unpacked the F75, set it up; and Mole's really having a ball with his new F75 !!!

I played about in the lounge, and set tones to dP, to experience multi tones on various targets.
I've come from years of Explorer detecting, and kinda like multi tones... But we'll see how we go when I get out in the field.

I tried both sets of my headphones, R.A.T phones, and Sunray Pro Gold phones... For my ears the Sunrays had the edge, they gave the sharpest "crispest" responses.
I gotta tell you, there's nothing wrong with my R.A.Ts at all __ great phones, ~ just that my hearing is best with the Sunrays...

RF from within the house had me dropping the sensitivity back down to 16, things got really stable then,
then I got far more steady and reliable numbers...
I like the back light, perfect illumination for the screen !!!

The lower shaft rubbers supplied are really thick, and they state that the coil/stem connection has been designed to operate with no rubber.
I'm guessing the rubbers are supplied to cover any situation such as if there was a bigger gap, and the rubbers could fill this gap.
Additionally it was stated that if the rubbers were forced in, it could make things too tight; ___ and maybe break off a coil lug.
I personally like to have the rubber washers, so I made myself a couple of thinner ones, perfect fit, and not too tight.

I'm VERY VERY HAPPY..... Man, talk about a quick response !!!:smoke:

Awesome... bet you can't wait to get out in the turf... get ready to dig some of the deepest coins in your life, even at the presets...

You're gonna love it Mole!
I've had mine a few months now, and all I wanna do is get out and try something new with it. It's so easy to shift on the fly and try new settings. The day I got mine I put it together, ran out to my backyard and using the defaults I pulled a silver Washington from 8" and right under the service lines running 10' overhead. Needless to say I fell in love with a machine right then and there.
Have fun learning it!

it truly "sees" it all,and the processor is the fastest "gun" in the west!..it's got "grapes" too!...outrageous combination!

Mole, the hardest part i found after being a long time Explorer/Etrac user (still amm) was when your over a target to get the ID, it seemed natural to me to slow down from habit but i lost the deeper targets or things went haywire number wise, short sharp rather than short slow side to side brings it all back together again and the number ID fixes on(i'm talking disc mode here) seems the faster the movement the better the ID(within reason)
hope this helps
good luck on the maiden

Thanks Bill, I've been enjoying your videos on You Tube...
Great productions.

Mike, I've seen so many great posts regarding finds in previously hunted out places,
supreme target separation and depth, with a super fast response and a super coil...

I HAD TO HAVE ME ONE ...... :detecting:

I got an F75 about a week ago and so far I love it. Thanks to available videos I havn't even read the book yet.

Thanks Kered, I'll take that thought with me when I hit the dirt....

F75's sure are fast and fine !!! :smoke:

Paul, I agree with you about Streaks video....
The only trouble I had initially was how to switch from disc mode to all metal mode... Got it now though !

mole!.you'll really feel like one when ya get some of those "deep" hits!..she's "packin'" a lot of heat even at lower "gain" settings!..if ya run into (e.m.i) just "dump" the gain, and ,(or) change the frequency, stabilize the detector, and she'll STILL get down there!

Thanks Elton, I wanted to have a forum name that had something to do with digging...
I did a search, and couldn't find anyone posting any where under the name of Mole... So Mole it was !
Then I er "borrowed" the pic of the Mole,
added the Merc Dime, and added a frame from Paint Shop Pro, then finally I reduced its size...

I could do you one if you like, what about Elton John eh !!! :smoke:
