Etrac just arrived. Will give it a good testing this weekend. I've got an interesting site at a nearby lake used mainly for fishing. It's a few feet low and I hunted the shore last weekend. Dug 35 to 40 large lead sinkers, most at 4 ounces or more. Did manage to pull out two nice silver rings. The detector I used had all these targets sounding the same and giving basically the same target ID number. Hope to set up a pattern on the etrac that will pick the silver rings out from amongst the many sinkers. I'm pretty excited about this detector. Thanks for all the posts as they've helped me out a lot. Usually I'm more of a relic hunter...but not many relics around here...I was actually pretending that the sinkers were minnie balls....69 cals...haha. Ray Hogan in Waco, TX.
