got my new CIBOLA WITH A SUPER CHARGER:rofl:

That's a super good looking detector you got there.:)

I was out getting to know mine and I was very impressed with the simplicity and capability of the little jewel. It is a refreshing break from the two "fully loaded" machines I'm used to.

The Cibola gets my  and I'm sure you will like yours too.

If you dont get five dollars in clad on the first outing send it back for repair.:tesoro::yo:

Yeah. trust me. you'll dig quarters on the beach at 18inches. i do with mine.
Really? While we're on the subject, what's with these posts that say the bad ground kills the Cibola. I want one more Tesoro and am considering either the Tejon or the Cibola.

It has a preset ground balance, so yes bad ground can kill it. If you're worried about that, then get the Vaquero :)

One size fits all is not the case with a preset GB. The first thing I did was to open up the case and adjusted the trimmer GB for my ground and I picked up at least 4 more inches in depth. If you don't feel comfortable doing that, an external GB is the way to go.

THAT WAS WHAT I WAS WANTING TO HEAR! Heck yeah! I've done it on my Compadre and my Silver umax. Now, if it's deeper than the Silver-ho boy. I may even add a tab check like on my Silver. Thanks, Larry. VERY important info.
