Got Grey Ghost head phones a twelve inch coil and I was ready to try it out. Twenty minute hunt on s spot my sold V3I has been many times. Found a 1968 Canada Penny at 8 inches ant a quarter on its edge a 5 inches. It ran smooth and nice. Found a rouge case and a piece of brass also. I Love it and don't miss the other machine at all. YAHOO! I love reading posts like this. Sounds like a spot that you'll have to revisit off and on. I'm sure you'll love that MXT Pro the more you use it. Congrats on your finds! Some of those old rouge cases are pretty cool too. HH and enjoy that new machine! Nancy

The MXT Pro is a great detector, as are the sibling MXT series models, but I favor the 'Pro' version. The 12" coil can be a bit much at times so I'll suggest shopping for a 5.3 Eclipse for the trashier or brushier areas. Open area searches with the 12" coil are practical.

As for detectors, and having owned two of the 'top end' model, I prefer the MXT pro and M6 for their value and performance. I don't like to fiddle around, just make some quick settings and hunt. Finding is more enjoyable than fiddling. :) Enjoy your MXT Pro!
