GOT MY MOJO BACK

The wind picked up on Sunday enough to get the waves inside the reef going, so I decided to get out there and give it the old college try at the 4:00pm low tide. I've been shut out for a while with the sand moving inshore so it took a little motivation to get going by 4:00.
Well the sand had stripped down a bit out at the turtle grass in chest deep water, so ahunting I went.
Yippee kayo kayay, I struck 18k gold after 5 minutes and this one with 5 nice little diamonds. Mojo's back and I'm looking for more.

you sure did. Quality loot too, none of this low end stuff. Outstanding bda! Try to get out there at least 2-3 hours before the low to get more time in the mine. On 2 tide days I may get to the surf as much as 6 hours before the low.

Hey GH:
The tides here don't seem to have the shoulder periods you get on the East Coast. I generally only get 1 hr each side of the low tide to work the surf. I don't know why, maybe it's because I'm on an island.
The 18k stuff is nice alright, the beach I'm working is the one I share with the Cambridge Beaches Resort and the rooms are from $510 to $1,575 per night which might account for the higher end tickets.
The hotel has only been using this beach for a few years as their main beach is on the other side of the pennisula and has been in operation since the 1930's. That's the beach I really want to hunt but access is much tougher, where there's a will there's a way though.
I sure would like to find a Rolex, that was a Great find, man alive.
Are you still coming to Bermuda? Keep me posted if you are.
