I got out tonight after work for about hour .I hit a home site that I went over 10 years ago with a spec. xlt. I thought there was to much junk and had no luck.
Today I dug alot of trash getting to know this Garrett but It was easy learning curve. I hit a 1935 merc.dime. at three inch. and then 10' away I hit a coin a can't make out.It is the size of a nickel but thin and is copper. how would I go about cleaning this so I could read it?I'm glad to be back in the hunt after a 10 year off.

Nice haul bud. I just got my 1350 last Monday! So far I love it and the pro-pointer it came with!

Welcome back MR SCOTT
And may :the :garrett::detecting:be with you..!!!

Ya I think I'm going to love it. I still need to get a new set of head phones but the 1350 and pin pointer work great together.oh and my 9year old wants her own Garrett now. lol here we go again.

I know what you mean, my 12 year old daughter wanted her own too. I got her the BH 505 with the BOGO sale at Kellyco when I bought my 1350. Only paid $55.00 for it and it came with the 4" coil a pouch and digger! She loves it and now she won't be bugging me to use mine when we are out camping and stuff. We are really looking forward to better weather now. We both are just itchin to get out and swing our new machines!
