Got my first silver spoon today!

In the water in an old dumping ground full of old decaying bricks and whatnot. It sounded good, just like a Q, but the more I scooped and the deeper the target was, I was having doubts, glad I finished the recovery. Its got 3 hallmarks and says Pat 1910 sterling, 20.5gr. Got an old copper ring that has glass beads in it and a wheatie in here too.
Yesterday I hit a large expanse where the duckhunters set up blinds..all sorts of shotgun shells as you can imagine, and a lot of lead too. It was raining to beat the band all day, but since we are water hunters, whats a little more to us? Really windy, rainy and cold weekend...lower to mid 50's made the beaches uninhabitable, so I opted for protected inland water, and had a nice time.

Vey nice! I have found maybe 25 silver plated spoons but only one silver so I know how nice of a find they are.

Nice work MP a few that I have found looked like brass until I shined them up a little. Looks like you have a real good site going on....keep us posted...
