Well the high today reached 55 and all the snow is gone. The ground is still rock hard and there is ice crystals down 4 inches. The wind was blowing at 38 plus MPH. Spent about an hour out. Landed one 1964 dime and a wheat. It was nice to get my first hunt in and find a silver to start the year off right. Tomorrow is gonna be about 48. I hope the ground is a bit easier tomorrow but I have my doubts. Once the new shovel gets here it will not be such a challenge. I did have my Koss headphones crap out so now I am in the market for a new set of anything but Koss headphones. If you have a good pair you want to sell like sun rays or Jolly Rogers let me know.
