Well I'm pretty happy.:)

The gold prices went down about the time I sent my gold in.

I was afrade the amount would be less than I figgered.

The check was $1,294.:clapping:

Seems to me that I estimated $1,300.:nerd:

So I can't gripe.

Bartender,,,,DRINKS ARE ON THE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:jump:

Happy Hunting,:beers:

Congrats Tab, sounds like a winner. Now for the question, do you have to report that to the IRS? Does Midwest Report it? If so, be sure to keep track of all the gas, coils, cleaning clothes, etc.... costs that go with finding the gold!!

Man, that's great tabdog!! It's got to feel good to see your hunting paying off. $1294 will pay for a lot of batteries :beers:
When you sell gold that way, do they give you spot price or less? Good luck with your loot, you worked hard for it. Thanks for posting
Ed

Hay Ed,

I don't know what a spot price is.

I just followed the shipping instructions at the site
and told them to send me a check.

They gave a break down of how much gold there was and what % it
was and the total amount of pure gold received.

I had 1.965 Troy Ounces of pure cold that was refined from my scrap.

They took out 6% for their charges.

Party pooper.

I don't think I'm going to have to pay any taxes at all.

I'm allowed that much.

May have to watch that in the future.

Thanks for the heads-up.

HH,

Actually, that may NOT be a bad thing. If it cost you $2,000.00 to make $1,300.00, sometimes you can write that off against your regular income, but check with your Tax Accountant First!! You might even be able to take DEPRECIATION on your equipment, including your detector, car, house space used in your "business", etc...

Way to go tabdog...... Where do you live, coming for the beer

About 5 miles, South by South West from the
geographical center of Arkie Land.

See ya shortly,

Tabdog the Compadra paid for it self?Next thing we'll see you on the cover of some Treasure magazine.
