After being stuck on land for about twenty years I finally wondered out into the H2O.
I was'nt in the water more than 5 mins. when the detecter went buzzurk and would'nt stop sounding off. I turned it off and restarted it to no avail. I was trying the Minelab XS to see how it would react when in the water(I know how well it works on land). Did it get sand in between the cover and coil ???
Did the probe box connection get wet ??? Is this nornal with this type of mach. What did i do wrong ??? The only reason I wondered out there was to attemp a ring find for a friend.
I'm not throwing in the towel as of yet and I may NOT attempt this again with that machine, But am determined to find something in the water.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for lookin and HH
