Got My D2 back!

Just in case Whites is reading on here...THANK YOU!!!!!!!
I just got my D2 coil back yesterday and it was like having a brand new baby!
I love this coil so much! I had been hunting with the Butterfly coils for the past month and now I have my D2 back and its GREAT!
Sorry about the rants on here but I am just so glad to have it back! Can you tell?

Are you happy to get your D2 back???

Maybe just a little..:spin:

Which butterfly were you using? I am looking to get a 15x12 but dont know if will give me improved performance. To many mixed reviews.

I was using the 10x12 and the 12x15 both... I like the 12x15..it goes deep but doesnt seem to pick up on small items or dimes very well. Maybe because they are so small compared to the coil??

Could you tell me how much depth you got compared to the d2 with both the sef 10x12 and the 15x12? I am after larger targets and coins gold and more coverage for the beach. Kellyco said the new v rated coils have not come in yet, and they are a couple of weeks off. So I have some time to decide.

Sounds like the D2 is working well for you. I'm still waiting to get mine back, I sent it in on June 23. Not use to having Whites take so long on customer service.

Magic may have had better luck than myself with the 15x12 SEF. I ended up selling mine due to After using it a bit I did a full blown comparison with the D2 in test beds and it was about the same for depth but heavier. I now use the Super 12 in open fields. That seems to get about an inch more depth but also more surface area too. D2 is my 90% of the time coil.
Just my opinion. I would bother with a 15x12.

I had about the same experience. The 12x15 is a good coil for ground coverage and gets better depth than the 10x12 but it doesnt go any deeper than the D2..at least not that I have found. Also, mine doesnt give me the correct frequency domination like the whites coils do. My 12x15 will tell me that any coin over 6 inches is blue (22.5) dominate. Also the depth is way off.
If the 12x15 tells me 4 inches...its usually 7 inches.
