Got my best find ever 2 days ago.

Hunting a sandy, shelled trashy,parking area for a Gulf shore beach. Using a 5 & 3/4 " coil. Was picking up some clad, a couple smashed trinkets. Got this scratchy sound and there coiled up appeared to be a rusty wire. Almost left it. Picked it up took it back. Wife started cleaning it, and she says "No Way !! Turned out to be a 20" 14k White Gold neckless, clasp intact. Haven't had it apprased yet- took some cleaning. Only second time I used this machine. No doubt my bestfind.ever. PS Went back to the beach yesterday, 3hrs. 1 dime- 3 pennies Pittyfull

It's very light and very well suited for such trashy sites. Costs about as much as a pinpointer.

WTG. All the gold rings I found since the last week of November until now gave iffy signals and I started not to dig them, but am glad I did. I found my 4th 10K ring yesterday, but my back won't let me go back today. 14K gold is something I would like to find, but won't turn down any gold. HH.
