Got My Bandido Today!:detecting:

Well after inspecting and taking it out I'm not so regretful for what i had to buy it for! I'd say it's about a 9.5 on the scale. The party i bought it from has taken very good care of it.
At the park is performed very well and yes. I'm impressed with the depth the little brown 8" coil gives! Not many regrets except I'm back in my old uncomfortable headphone because
the Grey Ghosts I have has no volume control. All I found on today's hunt was a a dime, nickle, 2 real pennies and about six zinc pennies. Found a old pulltab ring at about seven inches.
Pinpointing is a snap. GBing was easy as 1 2 3! I was able to get the hang of it real fast thanks to other Tesoros I use to own! Oh but compared to those this one is so light and dare I say cute ?

Howdy Dang

I've had my B11 UMax for about a year and half now, and it is one of my favorite Tesoro detectors ( have four ). It hits on small gold really well as I found a tiny 14 Kt gold cross at 8 in. deep in a chip bark tot lot using the stock 8 in. coil.

I may catch some flack from those that say you have to run min. disc.and dig all signals, but at some locations where I am short on time I'll disc out pull tabs. Or on older well manicured lawns I will run high disc, and look for old age indicators, in other words old pennys and silver coins.

Then, if I have permission to come back to these spots, and have cleaned out the higher conductors, I run disc. at min and dig all sweet sounding hits. The Bandido's audio hits hard on targets down to the 6 or 7 inch mark on coin size targets, then, after that depth, the signal gets a sweet sounding modulation sound to it. These type of signals are a no brainer " dig me up" signal. Good luck with your new Bandido!.............Hombre

Last year I hit a great deal on a Bandido-II.
The fella bought years ago new back then. Never got around to using it. Was cleaning house last year and ran into it. It was still unused in the box.
I hesitated about getting an older Tesoro, but read some good post's about the Bandido's here on the forum.
Well I was the first caller and ended up getting it dirt cheap. Put it together, installed batteries I took along and bingo. Works! He said it should because never been used.
Now I have only used it a few times, but it was kind of nice trying a classic Tesoro. I was surprised how well it worked for an older Tesoro. Smooth and good audio which I like in the Tesoro line. I just think it's kind of neat too.
