Got my AT/Pro today

I got my AT/Pro today and have it put together and hope to use it tomorrow at the river or at least play with it some. If I don't go to the river tomorrow, I plan to go Friday and Saturday. Hoping I have something worth posting and can get away from the shore and the pop tops. We had a hard freeze last week and it's in the mid-70's today. Hope I don't run into Alli. He's a rather large gator who swims across the other side of the river sometimes. This time of year it should be cold, but the weather is hard to figger lately. HH.

If you don't get to the river, a tot lot is a good place to learn the Iron Audio. Check every target with Iron Audio then dig it and see what it is. And try different iron discrimination levels. About an hour of this and you will have a good understanding of it.

Much success to you with the AT Pro. It certainly is a machine that has the capabilities to pretty do anything you want it to do, except maybe detect gators.

The tot lot is a good idea and our church has loads of iron targets. I tried last night to get my pastor's wife and this other lady to go out on the lake in an inner tube and keep an eye out for Alli, the gator. The people who say him across the river say he's between 10-12 feet long. They acted like I wanted them to be gator bait and when I told them if he came up I would be a gentleman and go get help, they acted like I was crazy. Go figure. Just joking of course. I really don't think he will bother me unless he's into metal detecting. I'm heading to the woods this afternoon to look around and if nothing doesn't happen, I hope to be at the river Friday or Saturday or both days if it works out. HH

Throw the Gator a chicken or 2 and you should be ok to hunt for a while. Just make sure there foster farm chickens.
