Got My AT Pro (Euro Version) Tonite.... Air Tests Lookin Good For Gold

I got home from work, and there was a note by the mailbox that a parcel had arrived. I had to go pay some duty and brokerage charges, then went home to put it together. Man...is it ever light. The box almost felt empty. It went together basically like my ACE 150 & ACE 250. But....you must exercise caution when attaching those headsets. The water proof connector is like the Infinium and Sea hunter, which all have two tiny copper pins which must lined up to the female connector on the housing. DO NOT BEND them, as they may brake off if you have to straighten them up again.

It was -15C/5F outside, so I did some air tests in the house. I built a cardboard box over a plastic laundry bin, & tested it to make sure that there wasn't any metal around to affect my results. I only used the coin mode, as I have issues with ground balancing a detector in air. Nonetheless, the results were simply amazing. This machine is soooooo sensitive to gold. And....it gets fantastic depth on rings, either gold or silver.

Below is a histogram I quickly put together using my results on the 6 targets I tested. The Euro AT Pro is calibrated in metric (cm) and I am quite comfortable with either.

Those numbers are pretty impressive to say the least! :clapping:Hopefully it's as good in the sand as it is through the air. My UPS driver should be dropping mine off soon...
