I got stuck working the weekend, so for the last couple of days, I've been shooting down to the woods after work till sunset trying to use up my precious time for some more hunts before that white mold sets in. The last couple of hunts I used both the sniper coil and the 9.5 stock imaging coil to finds some targets. I managed to get a good variety of targets as shown.

Here is a closeup of the better targets. That mermaid is an old cuff link that was gold plated at one time. I don't have a clue what that thingy is with a "W"(?) on one side and 2100 on the other. The last disc has "BLACKWELL & HOTCROSSES PATENT" stamped on it. I'm not sure what that was from. I hope every one else got out to enjoy a hunt too this weekend

Hello John, The mystery disk is probably from the company CROSSE & BLACKWELL LTD., which seems to have invented a double compartment bottle and been involved in food storage in jars amongst other things going by Google.

John

G'day John's.
Looks like you got out for another nice hunt there John. I had a top spot to detect at a neighbouring town, but ended up too busy to hunt it. I visited a mate, who was taking up students for the morning (flying lessons), but when I touched base with him, he'd just finished. We had lunch and he took me up for a spin for over an hour.
I spent the night at his place (discussed the finer points of currency trading) and poked around his property (40acres in prime gold country) for an hour with my detectors. There are plenty of diggings there from the gold rush days. Despite the presence of iron stone, I hunted around and below a couple of quartz blows, without so much as a murmur out of the Ace (in all metal and 8 notches of sens)! I thought that this ground would have been very difficult.
Mick Evans.
