Randy, I was still working in the area that I was working on Monday, right field. The first hour I was there I tried different things.I tried using multi tones, but that didn't work for me. If I was use to using multi tones it might of helped, I don't know. I kept using pattern 1 because most of the time when I am over a target I like to switch to AM and when I am not over a target I don't like to hear all of the iron grunts. I tried to back off on the sens and at #15 I would start to lose the signal and it also didn't help to improve the signal so I ran the sens at #17. I only have the 10.5 DD 7.5 coil and the stock concentric. I don't think that the stock would work very good at this place since the GB number was at #8 and the ground is loaded with rusty nails. I wasn't getting electrical interference at this place but I did go through each channel and found one that seem to help just a little bit at getting a better signal, but not much. The only thing that seem to work was swinging the coil super slow and spending more time working a target too decide if I wanted to dig it or not and sometimes I got lucky and sometimes I didn't, lol. One wheat penny that I found, I found 3 nails in the hole before I found the wheat. On the Walker, look at her leg, you can see the rust stains. A few times after I dug a coin or pull tab I would put it on the ground and swing over it and I would get the numbers and tones that I should be getting, but before I dug it I got real crappy numbers and tones. Most everything that I dug " coins and trash " had a broke up high tone and the numbers were jumping from #42 to #48. If I ever did see a #30 or #36 flash up while it was jumping between 42 and 48 I had a better chance that it was going to be a coin, but not always, lol. If you have any more suggestions, I'm all ears.
