...a '42. I used the X-12 again at a park near me that I've been hitting. Although the dime was pretty deep and a little on edge, I got a real good strong hit. Nothing like parting the dirt and seeing that silver there
Exp II users:
While it's a fairly trashy area, I was running at a 26 sensitivityat the time and the machine was very stable. I made the switch from Audio 1 to Normal and realized that Audio 1 is probably not as good as Normal in trashier areas. It holds onto the tone a little too much; the big coil probably doesn't help the situation. I was also in IM-16 at the time (I've been playing around with different IM settings)
The X-12, despite it's size, is not that difficult to pinpoint with but if there are numerous targets around THE target, it's "challanging". (I'm still working on that). The merc I found was pretty much dead center though, a couple inches below a deep plug... very satisying Can't wait for the hunt!
