The earring was found on the wet sand slope as I was following the tide in.
The target sound was unmistakeable: low, solid, focused, "gnarling" and tenacious to the coil. The sound was also a bit "crackling"..I think due to the earring clasp being in open position.
Will post a pic when I get the camera fixed ..this week , I hope
