got kind of an odd one today...

[Streak!]

dug this 1826 half cent with the number three stamped into the center of both sides. I've dig lots half cents over the years, but never one with any kind of markings.
Also got a rosie, 40 merc, a couple of wheaties, two dog tags, a few round balls, and two tombacks.Used the 75 in a rather tame mode today (DE), with fairly low sens settings. Seems to still produce just fine!!!

couldnt find anything either. It was probably stamped by a local merchant, or someone that was just bored one afternoon. Streak!

We don't see too many half cents in my area for some reason....instead it seems in this colony they just liked to cut British King George coins right in half to make change
