Got into a crash last week...

I live to detect another day. (whenever I buy another detector). While on lunch break from work a week ago Thursday I was getting ready to turn left into a driveway, blinker on when I look in my rear view mirror I see this truck not going to stop barreling in on me. With oncoming traffic in the other lane I try at the last second to turn towards the ditch when WHAM. The lady nailed me going about 55 never even touched the brakes. My car hit the embankment of the ditch flipped over and skidded on its roof for awhile.
Scared the poop outta me. There I was hangin by my seat belt staring at the roof. Some passerby came by and cut me outta my seat belt then I asked him if he could smash the rear window out so I could climb outta the car. Crazy stuff. All I got outta the deal was cuts, bruises and very sore. Coulda been a lot worse. I think what saved me from being crushed was that the seat back gave way and pushed me back into an almost laying down position. Here are a few pics. Jim "Crash" Campbell

Sold my detector and all my finds for bill money. But I do pop in here now and again to see whats going on. Hope all is well in your neck of the woods. Jim

I went and got a old beater already. Most I can get is $500 from her insurance. We both had PLPD insurance. Thanks Vern. Jim

Nope, I have no detector. I sold it and all my finds because of bills. I miss it bad but some day I'll get another. Thanks Ed.
