Got in the water this weekend;but...

...was just gettin into it(found a lot of pulltabs,a few coins);when the sky got dark;THUNDER STORMS COMING!!!Now.I wasnt too concerned-my water detector is all plastic,non-conductive...THEN;the lightning started flyin,and the thunder crashin-AND IM OUT IN WAIST-DEEP WATER WITH A STAINLESS-STEEL SAND SCOOP!!!:(:yikes::stretcher:So;I decided to call it quits-As soon as I got in my car and headed home;That lightning was striking EVERYWHERE around that lake..,.Worst storm I have seen in a long time...I think that scoop woulda made a GREAT lightning rod!!!...:unsure::sad::yikes::stretcher:

Yes-I surely have learned lightning and water dont mix--ive seen pictures of people that were hit by lightning....:unsure::stretcher:
