I hada couple minutes so I drove up to the park and scouted it out, mulch is around all playground equipment and nothing is too froze that I couldn't move it around with my feet. Lord willing if it does not rain I am GONNA get out there and hunt, it is suppossed to be in the 30's but I cannot wait anymore.....lol

wish me luck it does not rain or snow! there is a 30% chance :help:

Your supposed to have your Ace 250 riding in the passenger seat with the seat belt on it. This way your always able to hunt. Even if it's for a few minutes.

If I leave home without a detector I feel pretty darn lonesome. All I can think of is I'm going to find the perfect place to hunt with no detector in site! That has happened a few times and I cried like a little baby..............

Yea, I know what you mean. I was driving through St. Augustine Fl. and they were tearing up sidewalks two blocks from the fort. It was settled about 1540. No detector.

I just shed a small tear for you John. How were you ever able to move forward? Some people couldn't recover from such a tragedy.
Well a lesson learned. :beers:

I loaded up the detector, pouch and probe and headed out. I got about a block away and remembered I had forgotten something. I went back and picked up the wife............

An old joke but worth retelling. Guy gets pulled over on the interstate and when he asks the police officer what's wrong the cop says, "You left your wife at the rest stop, fifty miles back thay way." The old timer responds, "Thanks a million officer! For a while there I thought I'd gone deaf."
