It's been warmer for the last week and the frost went out of the ground, so Bradley & I went down to the "Reale corn field" one last time this year.
Bradley found a real nice 1839-O Half-dime right away, and I hunted all afternoon without finding much until right at dark (and my batteries were dying!), I dug an 1837 Bust Half-dime! What a way to end the year!!
Can't post a picture yet because my computer power supply burned out, and I haven't been able to re-install my scanner. I just got a new digital camera, but haven't gotten it hooked up to the computer yet, either. Hopefully I'll get it done this week!
See Ray, I told you that you need to get down here!! Just give me a chance to stock my cupboards, pantrys, freezer and fridge!
Dale:lol:

great hunt :super:

You Iowa folks find some great old coins, your "Reale corn field" has opened up my eyes to every corn field I drive by :look:.

That field is truly a field of dreams, Dale, I am so happy for you and Bradley, your good hunter's and your hard work in that field has shown it with your finds, congrats guys and Dale, could you please slap ole Bradley on the back for me and tell him how proud and happy I am for him, he's a good guy and truly loves this hobby for what it is and has never forgotten that, congrats Bradley

Maybe you should stock the cupboards, pantry, freezer and fridge Dale  because I might just drop by for dinner :detecting:

Congrats Dale, awesome find :please:
