Got an oil change on the Saturn, a buzz cut at the barber and then it rained for about an hour. That canceled my planned water hunt, as it was just too cold after a cold front came through Edmonton. So.....I hunted my spot which has given up soooooo much this year, and walked away with some nice finds. I got two 1919 pennies from different countries and the same military button I found last week. Here's all the finds.

Below are the best of the best all cleaned for micro-shoot pics.

Nice hunt, John. I really like those old style Canadian pennies.

I don't know Canadian coinage too well, but I learned from your post that the Canadian penny changed type in 1920 or 21.

1919 is easily my #1 year for finding wheats. Way more than I'd ever expect, even though a lot of pennies were minted in 1919.

No doubt coincidence, but then again maybe my late mother (born in 1919) has something to do with it...

Hey mom, how about giving up a little 1919 silver too!
