Got back down the beach after some time, work has been getting in the way
Nice low spring tide, some black sand here and there, so knew it was gonna be a good day, but not this good.
5 silver rings showed up from the black sand, some have cleaned up and have been claimed by my daughter already, a junky earring and a 'fish'turned up to play just before the watch came out.
Working the mid tide swimming line I had a sheepish signal from the goldscan, nice and crisp though, but not strong, from approx 12" up came the 18 ct signet ring, thank you very much I said out loud, looks like the hallmarks are for Birmingham 1853....nice.
I then had a faint signal about an hour later, took out 3 spades full of sand, and the signal came back large and loud, this normally means large iron at depth, but for some reason today i kept digging, and out came the biggest bracelet i've ever seen. My scales only go to 50g, i'm pretty sure it's silver, but the only marking I can find is MEXICO, and some other bits too worn to read.
The last signal was a belter and out came the wierd ring, don't know what it's made of, almost looks like some sort of ferrite or similar with a pattern on it???
Sorry to babble on guys, here's the nut
