Got another 10k gold ring in neck deep water at the lake yesterday.

Cute little thing (both wife & ring) and when the wife found it fit her it was lost once again :surrender:

It hit at a very mellow 12-03 and when I heard it I had a feeling it was gold and even mentioned to Dr.Bob how good it sounded before recovering it.
Earlier in the day I was able to hit a hot spot for clad quarters at a park and got 31 in about 45 min. Then later in the day we hit another park and I found a nice 1918 Mercury dime on edge with a nail very close by. It was a rather iffy sounding target but had enough silver ring to it to make me go after it. Bob found a very nice Barber dime there as well.

Man I love having a great performing machine that I can hit the water and dry land with equally good success :thumbup:

I can't even count the number of times Ray has "called it" before he dug it and was right. That is the sign of a man who has learned his machine.

It's great to have a hunting buddy that knows what he is doing and can teach me things:twodetecting:

Good job Ray! Strange the rings I find are just my wifes size. Are all wives like that or you and I have the only two? Congratulations on your finds. HH :minelab:
 
Ray are you wearing ankle weights to stay down when you dig l can just see you out there with your head out of the water lol.
 
I am thinking about building me a quick release dive type weight belt for the deeper water. Of course I am only 5'-6" so not all that deep lol.
 
Ray's not kidding. I look over to him and all you see is what looks like a head bobbing on the water. I couldn't even tell if he was swinging or digging. Everytime I looked his way it was just a head. :rofl:
