On m way t werk, hit the dragstrip for bout a hr got 62 coin, and a rubber snake:), mostly qtrs and dimes, bout 3 in deep, ground's polluted and turns all coins redish, coppery color, but they spend real good, only got fooled twice on ID, 1 screw cap, and 1 pc copper tubing, wonderful machine :fisher

Hey Bugar, I've been thinking alot lately about adding the EXCEL to my arsenal!! I'm curious about what kind of depth you are getting with the EXCEL? Do you consistently get GOOD DEPTH?
By the way, why did you stop using the USMC Globe/Anchor Insignia? Have a VERY SAFE/ENJOYABLE MEMORIAL DAY HOLIDAY!! HH,

There's not much deep stuff around here, but i do dig a lot of coins in the 8 in range, usually anything deeper is just some kind of buried trash, the EXCEL is a very good machine, handles what mineralization i have gotten into like it wasn't there, only bad soil i have been in is in Tn. Most around here is good, everything about it works good, and it's not very picky on GB'ing either, just a real nice outfit, for the money GREAT, GET Yer HH sold ?? Theyr'e pretty good outfits too.
I just forgot bout the Ol' Marine Corps Emblem with these new smileys and such, here they come again :usmc:fisher:fisher:fisher:fisher:fisher:usmc And i still love the Corps even after bein out 43 yr. some things ya just never forget :usmc:usaflag:super

that for some reason it does not hit hard on the big round iron rings like the C$ does. It cuts them out pretty much completely. Couple that with it's ability to silence our hot rocks that hit on +51 on the C$ & Fisher has a real lightweight, mid-priced winner that I find myself grabbing outta the trunk more & more :thumbup (having a SunRay probe attached helps that choice...now for some coils) :smoke

Hey BUGAR/BILL LADD, Many thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it. I really like the simplicity factor about the EXCEL!! I think I really need to add it to my arsenal!! So, I can go out and hit some local playgrounds and gather up some quick easy cash to build up my yearly intake on coinage, and to work in my Old Trashy Parks/Hot Rock INFESTED farm fields, and I can also use it replace my Headhunter Diver in competition hunts.
It's good to see the Ole Globe/Anchor back on your signature, and that's coming from an old soldier. I don't know if your heard or not, but AMERICA just lost ONE OF ITS GREATEST OLD SOLDIERS, A TRUE AMERICAN HERO!! COL. DAVID H. HACKWORTH, KOREAN/VIETNAM COMBAT VETERAN, and a very humble GENUINE HERO. Even after he retired from the U.S.Army, HE NEVER STOPPED CARING/RAISING H-E-L-L with the PENTAGON on behalf of all the YOUNG MEN/WOMEN that have been PUT IN HARMS WAY!! For a retired officer, HE WAS A REAL M-A-V-E-R-I-C-K, and a GREAT HUMAN BEING!! His funeral was today at ARLINGTON CEMETERY, and HE WILL BE G-R-E-A-T-L-Y
MISSED by this old soldier, and A WHOLE LOT MORE!! Even though, I never had the pleasure of personally meeting the man, I tried to follow his public speaking, whether it was on a major new network, or in a news magazine column.
Hey Bill, I appeciate you adding your response about the EXCEL's Discrimination on large Iron Rings. In speaking with Mr. BILL of Surfscanner Detectors in recent months, he told me about how great the EXCEL handles HOT ROCKS, and that really got my attention. Mnay thanks again guys, hh

& it has been talked about on the Sun Ray forum so I think it's OK now. Hopefully I won't get Banned banned:

you can probably offer a swap on the classifieds of that Headhunter for an Excel strait up if you wanted to. I would definitely make that trade if I had an extra Excel (but my serial #002 is not for sale) :spin Thanks also for letting us know about that old soldier as well..... :angel
